One of the things I'm most adamant about is that if you are dedicated to living a healthy lifestyle you must clear your kitchen of hydrogenated oil. It's absolutely toxic and will seriously complicate your efforts to reach your weight-loss goals.
When you consider how versatile healthy oils are, there's no reason to risk cooking with hydrogenated oils.
Today I wanted to highlight the differences between two of my favorite cooking oils. One is well-known but you may not have had the chance to try the other:
Extra-Virgin OLIVE Oil vs. Extra-Virgin AVOCADO Oil:
Did you know that avocados could be used to create a delicious, rich oil perfect for cooking at high temperatures?
High-quality avocado oil starts with high-quality, perfectly ripe fruit that is cold-pressed and naturally filtered. By using a low-heat process, nutrients and fatty acids are protected – and the integrity of the oil is preserved.
When it comes to any oil, quality matters.
Which is why I recommend Ava Jane’s Avocado Oil. Their avocado oil is pressed from ripe avocados, grown by hand, and is extra-virgin and unrefined. It is emerald green; unlike the yellow refined oils you find at the grocery store.
